We are proud and satisfied to announce that two students of our school: Andrzej Urbanek from class 6 and Krystian Urbanek from class 5 took part in the XII Open Championship of Polonia Chess.
This annual chess tournament is organized by the Polish Emigration Association in Chicago.
It is attended by children and young people from the Chicago metropolitan area.
A large group of its participants are children attending classes of the chess section operating at the association.
It is worth noting that many of them are very successful at prestigious chess tournaments.
We congratulate Andrzej and Krystian on their interesting passion and we cordially invite the other students of our school to take part in a chess tournament next year.
