“Nice to go crazy when it’s time for a while…”
Jan Kochanowski
One hundred days to the final exams is traditionally an excellent time “for this”,
to go crazy. Our graduation class joined with joyful elation in the vortex of an enthusiast –
a party that took place on January 30, 2016 in the Drury Lane banquet hall in Oak
Brook.
We were proud already at the moment of the ceremonial entrance to the banquet hall, because we were
we were received particularly warmly and officially presented as one of the oldest and most colorful
the history of meritorious Chicago Polish community schools.
Chic, elegance, excellent company, great organization, perfectly selected repertoire
musical, delicious meals, delicious desserts – these are just some, spontaneously imposing
to define this unforgettable evening. The prom began with a dance
not with great panache, because throughout the hall and throughout the hall, a polonaise. Soon the ball will be
took the form of total fun, dance madness, which lasted with a truly youthful
intensity and vigor until midnight. Prom is just to meet in a group
several hundred peers, who are at the same moment in life, gain strength and courage. Lo
after all, the moment is coming that these young people must make a leap into adulthood, and the first
the degree for this is the matura exam – the maturity exam. Admittedly, at the prom tried
to scare with a humorous song that reminded that “in a year again high school”, I think,
that only the most shy and insecure could take these words seriously. I know on
sure that all our seven-person matriculation class from the School of Im. Gen. K. Pulaski or we-
it’s hard to wait a year. Already now they are “going all the way” for everything, i.e. the matura exam – maturity.
Let us wish them success!
