About the day of the First Holy Communion

The Eucharist with Holy Communion expresses God’s extraordinary gift to man in the temporal dimension. First Communion is a unique celebration of love, a momentous event in the religious life of children, parents, the parish community and the school community.

42 children – who attend religion at the Polish school named after him. Gen. Kazimierz Pulaski – May 13, 2017. received the Lord Jesus in Holy Communion, for the first time.

The ceremony was held at the Church of St. The company is based in St. Rosalie’s Church in Harwood Heights.

The Mass was celebrated by Father Pastor Tadeusz Olzacki TSOPE and Marcin Mikulski TSOPE.

Communion children renewed their baptismal promises on their own for the first time.

During the Common Prayer, the faithful gave thanks for the sacrament received by the children and prayed for the grace of faith, with the words:

– Lord Jesus, thank you for allowing us to receive you into our hearts. Hold us firmly by the hand, so that we will never turn away from you: asked the participants of the mass.

On the Eucharistic altar were placed the gifts: candle, flowers, fruit, bread, wine, water and host which are symbols: love and faith.

After the solemn reception of First Communion, the children thanked the Lord Jesus with singing and prayers.

After communion, the priest gave a blessing.

The children were then presented with communion souvenirs.

Second-graders were prepared for the sacrament by catechists Grazyna Koltys and Ewa Grodzki.

From Monday to Friday, after the ceremony, the children attended White Week evening masses.
