“Receive the mark of the gift of the Holy Ghost”
Throughout his life, Jesus lived by works his unity with the Holy Spirit.
Throughout the centuries, the Church, through the laying on of hands and the anointing of the chrism, has transmitted the gift of the Holy Spirit to the baptized.
Confirmation ceremony of students of grade 8 from the Polish school im. Gen. Casimir Pulaski in Harwood Heights took place on May 2, 2016.
In the church of St. Rozalia gathered students, witnesses, parents and catechists.
The minister of confirmation was Bishop Łukasz Buzun – prior of the Pauline Fathers from Jasna Góra, in Poland.
The sacrament was received by: Piotr Biel, Matthew Dalecki, Adrian Grabowski, Oskar Kolko, Jakub Nogalski, Katarzyna Puc, Sebastian Radziszewski, Naomi Szalast, Andrzej Urbanek, Nicole Woloszyn, Mikołaj Wolsza, Alexander Dykas.
The confirmands adopted the following names: Nicholas, John, George, Cecilia, Francis, Philomena, Peter, Agnes and Conrad.
The Holy Mass was concelebrated by: Father Tadeusz Olzacki – parish priest of St. Rozalia and father Bogdan Olzacki – director of the religious program.
The young people were prepared to receive the sacrament by Sister Anna Kalinowska.
After Confirmation, everyone was invited for a sweet treat in the Conrad Hall, in the school building.
