Christmas Eve 2012.

On December 15, 2012, a solemn Christmas Eve took place in our school. It was attended by all students, teachers, parents and invited guests: the vice-president of the Polish National Association, Mrs. Teresa Abick and the parish priest of St. John’s Parish. Rozalia Fr. Tadeusz Olzacki. All gathered were greeted by the school principal Mrs. Agata Michałkiewicz and the vice-president of the school Mrs. Marlena Szalast. After the speeches of both ladies, those gathered in the hall said a prayer and, sharing a wafer, made Christmas wishes to each other. Then everyone sat down at the table to taste the Christmas Eve dishes prepared by invaluable mothers and grandmothers.
We were introduced to the atmosphere of Christmas by the members of the theater circle, who, under the leadership of Mrs. Zofia Biernadska, prepared the Nativity play entitled “Nativity play”. ”The Mystery of the Night of Bethlehem”. The audience was delighted with the acting, costumes and musical setting of the performance. The nativity play ended with singing Christmas carols together. This special day at our school passed in a solemn atmosphere and provided everyone with many impressions.
