From Toruń to the stars. A lesson about Nicolaus Copernicus.

Nicolaus Copernicus – an outstanding Polish scholar, astronomer, priest and doctor, class VIIa met during one of the January Polish language lessons. His epochal discovery, recorded in the work “On the Revolutions of the Celestial Spheres”, children presented in their original and ingenious works. Their designs and drawings clearly illustrate the saying so familiar to us: “He stopped the Sun, moved the Earth, the Polish tribe gave him up”.
I congratulate the students of class VII on their talent, diligence and conscientiousness. However, I encourage all parents, school lovers and children and young people to look at the photos posted on our website.
