On Saturday, September 29, 2018. Polish School named Gen. K. Pulaski took part in the project “Oak Independence Avenue”, consisting in planting 100 oaks by schools and Polish diaspora organizations to commemorate the 100th anniversary of regaining independence by Poland.

The ceremony took place at the Youth Centre of the Polish National Union in Plano (Yorkville). Our school was represented by students of the third grade of high school: Katarzyna Puc and Christopher Dobrzycki, a long-time member of the school board Mr. Józef Lisak, school director Agata Michałkiewicz and school president Agata Woźny.
