Winter

Winter this year is extremely kind to us and so far it has not showered us with abundant white fluff, but everything can still happen, the second half of it has just begun.
Last Saturday, class IV A with Mrs. Urszula decided to enrich their vocabulary with winter. The students started the class by collecting words related to winter, which was not so easy for everyone. Some people heard words such as a snowdrift, sleigh ride or snowstorm for the first time. Then, with great commitment, the children cut snowmen out of colored paper, decorated them with hats, scarves, colored buttons, gloves; some of the snowmen even received a shovel for snow removal and a broom for sweeping snow. When the works were ready, the fourth-graders carefully wrote their chosen winter words on them, and later arranged sentences with them. Gathering vocabulary and composing sentences was the most difficult part of the class for the students, but everyone did a great job.
Now colorful snowmen with winter words decorate the wall of our class, make students smile and please with the work done. We hope that they will not attract to us heavy snowfall, snowstorms and sulfurous frosts.
