Brick for the Polish Museum in America

We would like to thank our Students, Teachers and Parents for taking part in the “Brick for the Polish Museum in America” campaign. A total of $323 was raised and this amount is being donated to the Polish Museum in America.

The Polish Museum in America was founded by the Polish Roman Catholic Union in 1935. It is one of the oldest and largest ethnic museums in the United States. It is located in the heart of the first Polish neighborhood, at the intersection of Milwaukee and Augusta streets in Chicago. The Polish Museum in America, through the documents and works of art it contains, is intended to enable the American public to know and understand our national existence. The museum houses a library of nearly 60,000 volumes, 250 permanently accessible periodicals and a collection of classical, folk and entertainment. To join the MPA is to endorse Polishness. The museum belongs to us, to all of Polonia. The museum’s mission is “to preserve the past for the future.”

Our school – Polish School named Gen. K. Pulaski is the Patron of the Polish Museum in America
