Nurturing Christmas traditions is a very important part of teaching at the Polish School named after him. Gen K. Pulaski. Among the most beautiful customs are those organized in our school: singing of Christmas carols and staging of nativity plays during the school Christmas Eve, which this year fell on December 17. It was hosted by a priest from St. Rosalie Parish, parents, youth and children from our school. The recitation of prayers was followed by the traditional breaking of the wafer and greetings. In addition to abundantly set tables with traditional Christmas Eve dishes, the children and youth of our school staged a festive Nativity play under the watchful eye of the irreplaceable Mrs. ZofiaBiernadskaya and with the help of Mrs. Bozena Szewczyk. The young actors, dressed in very impressive costumes prepared together with their parents, gave a wonderful performance for all of us gathered on that day.
A joyful mood also prevailed at the school on Saturday, December 10, 2011, thanks to the most beloved and expected Santa Claus, who presented all students with small gifts. The packages were helped Santa Claus purchase by the School Board. Santa Claus also did not forget the teachers and employees of the school. As a farewell, he promised everyone that he would also remember us next year.
