Traditionally, during the school Christmas Eve, the results of the competition for the most beautiful Christmas tree decoration and Christmas crib, which has been very popular among students for many years, were announced. The organizers informed the school community that a record number of participants took part in this year’s edition.

For the sixteenth time, the Polish Pulaski School organized an annual competition for the most beautiful Christmas tree decoration and Christmas crib.

This school year, to the satisfaction of the organizers and educators, a record number of 76 students took part in the competition; 63 students from the morning shift and 13 students from the afternoon shift, among them 2 students who made extremely laborious Christmas nativity scenes.

The competition ceremony took place on Saturday, December 15 during the school Christmas Eve, just before the performance of the nativity plays.

For the first time in the history of the competition, at the request of the school director Agata Michałkiewicz, students were separately selected – winners from the morning and afternoon shifts.

The list of winners was announced by director Michałkiewicz.

The President of the School’s Management Board, Agata Wozny, honored the best with prizes, while all participants of the competition received diplomas.

Let us remind you that the regulations of the school competition organized for years are based on unchanging rules, to which a new rule was added this year consisting in selecting students – winners attending classes at school in the morning and afternoon shift.

The most interesting works were selected by voting by the school jury.

This year’s five-person committee included: art artist Barbara Niedorezo, who conducts school art classes, Agata Michałkiewicz – school director, Agata Wozny – school president and Grażyna Kołtyś and Jola Plesiewicz – teachers and long-time organizers of the competition.

The competition committee, as in previous years, had a very difficult task, because all the works were carefully made and were distinguished by originality.

The awarded works were exhibited at the occasional exhibition, and the other beautiful decorations were decorated with a huge Christmas tree.

After the emotions associated with the announcement of the results of the competition, students and parents participating in the school Christmas Eve were invited to watch the nativity plays, directed by the president Agata Wozny, based on the script by Zofia Biernadska.
