On November 21 of this year, the Polish school named after the Polish author. Gen. The Kazimierz Pulaski High School class graduation ceremony was held. With a 6-month delay due to the pandemic, the very modest graduation brought together 9 students and their parents. Also present were the headmaster Mrs. Agata Michalkiewicz, deputy headmaster Mrs. Grazyna Koltys, educator Urszula Knapik and representatives of parents from the school board. President, Agata Wozny attended VIA Zoom due to quarantine. To the sound of a graduation march, the students entered the hall wearing the required masks, of course. After listening to the anthems, American and Polish, the students were welcomed by the Headmistress. Afterwards, the educator spoke, thanking the students and parents for their cooperation and wishing them success in their further education and personal lives. Ms. President bid farewell to the high school graduates via Zoom. Graduation diplomas, diplomas from the Polish Teachers’ Association, as well as commemorative medals and book awards were presented. On behalf of the students, Alexandra Dabkowski bid farewell to teachers and parents by presenting them with beautiful bouquets of flowers. After the ceremonial handover of the banner to the high school’s 2nd grade class, the students lined up for commemorative photos in front of the school building, obviously throwing their graduation headgear high.
