Saturday, October 14, 2017 – gala costumes, flowers in students’ hands, the smell of homemade pastries and freshly brewed coffee heralded the atmosphere of the school holiday from the morning. National Education Day, commonly known as Teacher’s Day, is a great opportunity to thank teachers for their upbringing and education efforts.
Everyone gathered in the auditorium was greeted by the school’s headmaster, Mrs. Agata Michałkiewicz, introducing the teachers and wishing them their best wishes. The president of the school, Mrs. Agata Woźny, joined the wishes, thanking the teachers and school staff for their heart, dedication and patience, while wishing them perseverance in overcoming everyday difficulties. A student of the first grade of the High School, Christopher Dobrzycki handed beautiful roses to the gathered teachers and school staff. The participants also received small gifts.
A beautiful laurel for this ceremony was the artistic part prepared by students of grades 3c and 4c under the direction of educators, Mrs. Ewa Belicki and Mrs. Małgorzata Rząsa. Young performers with words and songs graced this special day in the school year, and the student of class 4c Livia Krupiński beautifully played the violin.
Teachers heard many kind words of gratitude for the daily work, perseverance and care with which they shape the future of the young generation.
