Meeting with Mrs. Zofia Biernadska

March 21, 2015 Polish School named Gen. Casimir Pulaski had the honor and pleasure to host once again Ms. Zofia Biernadska, a veteran of World War II and an exile of the Soviet gulags. During her multimedia lecture entitled “From the Gulags to the Army”, Zofia told in an extremely interesting and touching way about herself and the fate of other people deported in the years 1940-1941 to the depths of the Soviet Union. She also outlined the circumstances in which she joined Gen. Anders of the Polish Army and what function she performed in the army. She painted in words the battle of Monte Cassino, one of the most heroic, bloody and fierce battles of the Second World War, in which a soldier Polish showed special bravery, courage and readiness to sacrifice his own life. Ms. Zofia we would like to thank you for an interesting lesson in the history of !!!
