On October 24-25, 2009. teachers of our school took part
in methodological workshops on teaching Polish language abroad conducted by the teaching staff of the Polish Teachers’ Center in Lublin – Jolanta Studzińska, MA, and Grażyna Wiśniewska, PhD .During the classes were presented the possibilities of using literary texts in improving the language skills of children at an earlier school age . On the basis of the “Legend of the Dragon of Wawel”, tradition
and rituals of Easter were presented many interesting exercises, games and teaching games. The theme in the older grades was ways of working
With a literary text. Exercises were held using examples of texts by Adam Mickiewicz, Jan Twardowski, Wislawa Szymborska.
Our school was represented by ladies Anna Chuchacz, Bożena Szewczyk, Barbara Cieślak, Lucja Szeliga, Alicja Kuklińska, Jolanta Plesiewicz and Ewa Wejda.
The ladies had a lot of fun sitting down again as students on the school bench, and the ideas from the workshop will probably be used soon in new interesting lessons.
