On December 19, 2009, our school held a school Christmas Eve.
On this solemn day, all the school’s students, teachers, parents and priests gathered in the beautifully decorated large hall to pray together, watch the Nativity play and enjoy the food prepared by parents and teachers. Tables covered with white tablecloths awaited Christmas Eve dishes. The hall was beautifully decorated which had an impact on the atmosphere in our school on that day. All attendees were welcomed by the school’s President Agata Wozny and Manager Ewa Wejda. After a beautiful speech by the ladies, everyone gathered in the hall said a prayer, shared a wafer, made Christmas wishes and sat down at the table to enjoy Christmas Eve food. Afterwards, everyone watched the Nativity play prepared by high school second graders and their classmates under the direction of ladies Alicja Kuklinska and Zofia Biernadska. The performance and joint singing of Christmas carols put the audience in a festive mood. At the end, Santa Claus visited us, which caused great applause among the audience. Santa distributed Christmas gifts prepared by the School Board to all children. The ceremony ended in a cheerful festive atmosphere. It was a special day at our school, which will long be remembered by all the participants of the school Christmas Eve.
