On Saturday, November 16, 2013 at the Polish School of Science and Technology. Gen. Casimir Pulaski in Harwood Heights, IL held a student fitting ceremony.
It was attended by 38 children who, in the presence of their colleagues, parents and future teachers, took a solemn oath.
During this ceremony, when accepted as students of the school, they committed themselves to: being a good student, taking care of the honor of their school and class, and helping the weaker.
The fitting for the student was made by: the school director – Agata Michałkiewicz and the teacher of the first grades “a” and “b”.
Both ladies congratulated the newly admitted students and wished them perseverance and success in learning.
After the official part, the first graders performed for the first time in the artistic program prepared by them.
Against the background of a beautifully decorated hall with white and red flowers, young artists recited poems and sang songs.
Proud of their children, parents rewarded their wonderful performance with thunderous applause.
