Starting school is an important moment in the life of every child. Fitting in as a first-grade student is a celebration of welcoming new students into the school community.
On Saturday, October 11, 2017, at the Polish School of Fine Arts. Gen. K. Pulaski took the oath of 32 disciples.
The ceremony was attended by parents, siblings and grandparents. In festive costumes and a solemn mood, the first graders under the guidance of their tutor Mrs. Lilli Kazimierska-Kulis presented a short artistic program. Together with their parents, our students took solemn vows, together promising to be a good student and a great parent. The students demonstrated their knowledge and skills with great emotion, proving that they are ready to become full-fledged students of the school. There was a solemn taking of the oath and the act of fitting, which was made by the director, Agata Michałkiewicz touching the shoulder of each freshman with a large pencil. Then each student left a finger print next to his name and surname appearing under the rota of the vow in the school chronicle. The little heroes received commemorative diplomas and gifts funded by their parents. After taking commemorative photos, our first graders in joyful moods together with their parents sat down for refreshments.
We wish the first graders a lot of joy and satisfaction from learning and the same nice moments spent with colleagues! We congratulate the parents on their wonderful children.
We would like to thank all those who contributed with their help to the organization of this ceremony.
